Congress Bills

Instructions:

Bills must be sent in Word format and follow these standards:

1) They must be in Times New Roman 12 point. Times New Roman is a standard font. Other 12 point fonts are not the same size. While the bill may fit on one line in Garamond, it may bleed to the next line in Times, requiring me to renumber the lines.

2) Students should NOT utilize the automatic line numbering. When I cut and paste, the automatic line numbering becomes unwieldy. It pushes items onto other lines, causes extra indents, etc. Just type the number at the beginning of each line.

3) Each line, not each section, should be numbered.

4) Sections should NOT be indented. Each document comes with a different set of tabs. There is no need to use ANY tabs in the body of the bill.

5) Please do not boldface any parts of the bill. Boldface changes the size of the line.

6) Lines should be double spaced.
